Novak Djokovic defeats Roger Federer 6-2 7-6(4) in the Semi-Finals at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia.
Today, Federer lost his 8th tournament out of his last 11 and his 4th match in the past 6 months. He has won his last 48 matches out of 52. Any other player would take those stats with open arms. Roger didn’t play his best today, but he still fought - against all odds he broke back after saving match point in the second set. He showed us he is determined and ready for Roland Garros. Coming out of this loss, I am confident that Federer will play his best Tennis at Roland Garros.
